Just wanted to post another painting I did the other day, branching out into other animals now haha!I also made it available as a print for those interested.

H&M JUMPER // H&M SKIRT // EVANS COLLAR // CLARKS BROGUES* // EVANS COTTON TIGHTS // ASOS BAG // DOLLY DARLING DEER BROOCH // NEW LOOK VELVET BOW // REPUBLIC RING
Outfit of yesterday. Fuzzy pink jumpers & cotton tights = snuggly George! And eek, cotton tights! I haven't worn cotton tights since I was about 7 years old. Never thought I would find any in my size, but whilst browsing Evans I came across these, & even though I don't normally trust Evans for tights, because the reviews were good I decided to give them a go. They aren't perfect, but they do fit at least! I think being taller (5"9 - I've grown an inch in the last year!) tights fit me less well than shorter people, especially y seamed ones which I have particular issues with.
They are akin to my We Love Colors ones, which I have the same issues with (y seamed & a bit small at upper thigh, & they like to slip down), but they will do. I feel much better about paying £9.50 a pair (& no shipping if you order from style 369!), as opposed to the large customs fees I get when I order from We Love Colors, on top of international shipping & a similar price for the tights themselves. So yay! Needless to say I got them in all 3 colours (berry, grey & black).

Hi again everyone! Thank you so much for your comments on my last post, they mean a lot to me! I hope my cousin will like it as much as you did :) Anyway, just wanted to show you what else I have been getting up to recently, aside from gift making!
I've been drawing & painting these little kitten girls, which I really do rather love! The top one is based on my outfit from the other day, as you can probably already tell :P The other 2 are just from my imagination.
I've decided to make them available to buy, since I always get asked about prints etc. They are available in my shop here, & start at £5.00. I'm also selling the framed originals of the 2 above
Hope you like them!

Here's the next gift I've made this Christmas. This is for my other young cousin, who loves Hello Kitty. I made her a playset, which includes lots of little handmade fimo foods, along with a few official figurines & then some other accessories like stickers, plates & teapots, & even a few cushions & a blanket I made. I also made a picnic table out of lollipop sticks.
This set is really meant to go along with the gift my Mum got her, which is a proper Hello Kitty house & some figures. I noticed in the house there was no dining table, so thought I'd make something big enough for all the figures (this seats 6, obviously you can see I've got her 2 & my Mum got her 4) to eat at, as well as a few bits of food. Anyway, I hope she likes it, I am half tempted to keep it haha, I love Hello Kitty myself, those of you that follow my instagram(username cupcakesloveme) might have see the extent of it :P
I am especially pleased with the birthday cake, I've never attempted candles before, but they turned out quite well! There's a wire armature inside, so they wont snap off either. What do you think?

An ultra quick post from me today, just wanted to let you know I have listed some clothes I don't really wear anymore for sale here. Some has already sold, but there's still quite a few bits left if you're interested:)
Thank you for all your lovely comments on my post yesterday too, & hope you are having a lovely day!

HANDMADE SKIRT // SHOPPALU CARDIGAN* // ASOS COLLAR // HANDMADE POPPY CROWN // CLARKS BROGUES* // TOPSHOP BUNNY RING // STOLEN THUNDER BROOCH // LOOBY LOU CRAFTS MUFFLER
Sorry I have been rather neglectful of the blog recently! I don't mean to be, but it's hard getting inspired for posts sometimes :( Anyway, this is today's outfit, thought I'd wear a mix of vintage (the cardy) & handmade (the skirt, crown & muffler). I also wore my hair in a totally different style to how I usually would. I was going to do milkmaid braids, but I liked how they looked hanging so I left them!
Please do excuse my terribly fluff covered cardigan, it seems to attract every little bit of fluff, despite brushing myself off several times. :P Also, my shoes, but that's what happens when you insist on standing in a muddy woodland just to take photos of yourself, haha!

I'm making Christmas presents again this year (last years are here) & have already finished a couple of them. Here's the first one I've completed, a bear for one of my young cousins. I'll probably only be able to show you this & another one before the date, as some of my family read my blog, & I don't want them to find out what I'm doing, haha!
Anyway, I did in fact use a pattern for this bear, it's this pattern by JennyLovesBenny, which I bought years ago to make a small mohair bear for my mum. I thought I might as well put it to use now! I had to enalrge it by about 500% or something ridiculous, this bear is about 30cm high sitting, & the one in the pattern about 15cm standing. As you can tell I didn't use fur, but leftover wool tweed from this skirt project. I did use some scraps of mohair on the ears & feet, so it's kinda like a topsy turvy bear.
I also crocheted her a little cardigan, which I also studded with hotfix hearts(her nose is also studded with a little hotfix gem!), as she seemed a bit cold without any fur, haha! She's half machine sewn/half handsewn. The handsewing bits were pretty tricky, esp with my choice of a fabric that likes to fray easily! Also, because she isn't furry, mistakes showed up really easily, which is something I didn't think of! I think she turned out okay though, she's jointed & even has a growler in, so I hope my cousin likes her.

STYLE 369 DRESS // ASOS CURVE MAC // DOC MARTEN MARY JANES // TOPSHOP SOCKS // NEW LOOK HEADBOW // HANDMADE BOW // ROMWE COLLAR // MISS SELFRIDGE BROOCHES // ASOS KITTEN MITTENS // MOCHI BEACOUP BAG
Time to break out the coats again! I thought this thin mac would be okay for today, but I was actually rather chilly whilst taking these pics! I do get cold pretty easily though, my sister took these & wore thinner layers than me, with no mittens & her hands were still toasty after! At home I've been snuggling up under lots of blankets with hot water bottles, it's definitely starting to feel like winter again! I wore the kitten mittens I told you about a while ago, they are awesome for 3 reasons, a.) they are kittens, b.) they are on strings & c.) they have pom poms too!
Here in England everyone is currently celebrating Bonfire night, which is technically tomorrow, with lots of pretty fireworks. Unfortunately we don't really go to any displays anymore, because of the dogs. Button, the eldest, absolutely hates them (he's currently sitting next to me on my bed shaking in fear, poor thing) :( All the others are okay with them, including Bobo our cat (he's too shy for pics, haha!), but Butty really suffers.
Anyway, off to go & give him a cuddle, see you all soon! ♥
