BERNIE DEXTER DRESS* // NEW LOOK CARDIGAN // SHELLYS SHOES // SUZY SMITH BAG // CHEAP FRILLS RINGS // LUCKYDIPCLUB BROOCH
I wore this outfit when Carl & I went to get ice cream the other day. It's still not really the weather for it here in the UK, despite it being March, I was bloody freezing! The dress is a recent addition to my wardrobe, I was very kindly sent it by Unique Vintage, & it is this Bernie Dexter one. I've always wanted to try out a Bernie Dexter dress, as I've always admired the prints, so it's nice to finally own one! I got it in the 4x & it fits perfectly.
♥ ♥ ♥Unique Vintage have quite a wide selection of cute plus size clothes, stocking brands like Hell Bunny, as well as their own designs. They have an individual size chart for each items they stock, which makes it easy to see what would fit you, although it means sizing is not consistent across the site, but this is more down to all the brands they stock having varying sizes/measurements.
This post is also the first ones with my new glasses! I had worn my other ones for over 4 years, almost the entirety of this blog, so it was about time for a change, I think. I got given the opportunity to get a free eye test and glasses from Specsavers, and these are the pair I chose. A different shape for me, but I loved the colours, they are a very pretty purple and turquoise, with pink arms, so they remind me of mermaid glasses.
♥ ♥ ♥
This was my first time trying a new opticians, I've only ever been to my local one, which doesn't have any of the fancy equipment that Specsavers had, it was rather interesting to have all these weird tests done that I've never had before, haha!
Wearing my personalised brooch I got in the biscuit box from Luckydipclub, how cute is it?

HANDMADE SKIRT // SKINNYDIP BAG // H&M CARDIGAN // WELOVECOLORS TIGHTS // TOPSHOP SHOES // TOPSHOP BOWS
Recently I haven't really been buying clothes a lot, all the available stuff seems uninspiring to me, so I've preferred to opt for making my own designs, because then I can get exactly what I want. I made this skirt recently, after seeing these cute patches by Jenni's Prints, and feeling inspired. I bought 2 patches, and made them into pockets for this pink wool skirt. I added fur trim for extra cuteness and warmth. I love the end result, & wore it out for the first time here!
I wore it with this cute bag by Skinny Dip London, which is shaped like a milk carton. I love it so much, although it doesn't really fit much in, just the essentials.
I finished my outfit off with white t bar flats, lilac tights & my favourite white fluffy cardigan. I also wore my new lipstick, which is Unicorn Tears by Too Faced, which is the prettiest blue sheened glittery lilac colour. My new fave!

HELL BUNNY BLOUSE // NEW LOOK SKIRT // ASOS SHOES // FANCY LADY INDUSTRIES MERMAID CROWN // TED BAKER BAG // HANDMADE RING
I bought this Hell Bunny seashell collar blouse as soon as it came out, but this was its first outing, as I was waiting for the perfect mermaid themed coordinate. It was also the first time I wore Natalie's gorgeous handmade crown. If I remember correctly, the shells are vintage sequins from her grandmother's stash, which is just lovely.
I paired the blouse with this jacquard skirt I got from New Look ages ago, as the mint colour matches exactly & it's texture was supposed to be a bit reminiscent of a mermaid's tail, haha.
Back with another post soon,

HELL BUNNY COAT // SOUTH DRESS // GEORGE CARDIGAN // ASOS BAG // DOLLY DARLING HEADBAND // TOPSHOP SHOES // CONIECO BROOCH
Here's an outfit from a while ago! Last year in fact. I took these shots to model the headband that I made for Mollie Makes magazine, and completely forgot about them until now. Since I haven't done an outfit post in a while I thought I'd share these now. It's almost time to break this coat out again, it's so cold at the moment!

DOLLY DARLING DRESS // ASDA CARDIGAN // PRIMARK BOW // NEXT SANDALS // KUKI SHOP BRACELET
Blogging more often is not going well, as you probably can tell. Anyway, here's an outfit from the other day. Spring is officially here, so cotton dresses & sandals it is! I'm going away next week with the family & boyfriend to North Wales, so will hopefully get a chance to take photos more often up there. Hope you are all well,

♥ Kittens & Mices ♥
Decided to only do a top 3 this year, rather than 5, seeing how few outfits I've managed to document! New Years resolution will certainly be to start blogging again more frequently! Hope you've all had a wonderful year, & have fun tonight! See you next year!

ASOS COAT // HANDMADE DRESS // NEW LOOK BOW // ASOS SHOES // VINTAGE CHARM BRACELET // ROMWE COLLAR // HANDMADE DEER BROOCH
Couldn't miss a Christmas OOTD, now could I? I wore a handmade velvet dress (which was a pita to sew, and I probably will never wear again because it is sewn so badly!), gold sequin shoes and my trusty black velvet bow. On top I wore my new fur coat which I got on sale from ASOS. It runs big, so I was able to fit into straight sizes for a change!
I had a lovely Christmas, how about you? I spent the day with my family, doing the usual stuff, eating lovely food, playing classic games and opening presents. I got totally spoilt, again, with a new camera lens and lots of shiny Disney DVDs from the boyfriend, a stand for my record player from my Mum & her partner & chocolate from my sister.
We played bagatelle, & chinese checkers, which are a few of my favourite games to play at Christmas. I won at chinese checkers, & Charlotte came first in bagatelle, both times we played.
You can kinda see my tattoo in this pic, which I got a few months ago, done by Keely Rutherford!
My wonderful photographer, looking cunning in the hat I made him :) Does anyone recognise it?
Anyway, I shall probably post again soon with some of the other handmade gifts I made for people, and also my usual top 5 outfits of the year post. Hope you all had a wonderful holiday!
