OOTD

Dress - ASOS Curve Cardigan - Dorothy Perkins Shoes - Evans Bow - New Look Bag - Topshop Necklace - DIY Ring - Republic Bracelet - Evans

Nothing too exciting today, this was my outfit for a trip round my local town centre, shopping!

This was my haul. Suprisingly this time it includes an item of clothing. Normally I buy almost everything online, as my shopping centre only has a small Evans concession in BHS, & a New Look Inspire section as the choice. I'm not normally lucky to find anything nice in either, but today I picked up this simple, but still cute, black tshirt with polka dot peter pan collar. As always, I picked up a bunch of accessories from Primark, & also a cute laptop bag which cost only a mere £4.

  3. oh cupcake. you have a fringe. a fringe! and you're beautiful. i've seen tons of photos and only just really observed this. you will be my new example. "look, mum, fat girls can have a fringe!" she is convinced the world will explode and the gods will be angry if my "round" face has shorter hair above it.

also, i just realised that i like your outfit photos because you have a really clear style - each different set is still very you. just wondering how you found this? do you feel like you've found your own style or do you think it's something that keeps evolving?

  4. You're an accessorizing pro! I don't think I'd be able to pull off all those feminine pieces all together myself.

  7. Omg. I want your peter pan collar top from new look! It was sold out online. Sobs.

You look extra cute though. I am jealous your weather allows you to wear such a combination without freezing your buttocks off. It's presently -35 C here.

  8. Thanks everyone for your comments:)

Alannarama - My style definately has evolved, & I'm sure it always will do. But saying that, I feel I have found my style as well. I don't know quite how really, I just always pick out pieces I like, & then generally combine them in a fun/whimsical way which screams ME. Hehe! Sorry, that wasn't overly clear. It's hard to explain.

Gazel - Yeah England is currently having a really mild spell atm, which is odd for winter. Saying that though, I went with my Mum, who wore a thick coat over her outfit. Shopping gets me all hot & bothered though, so I always dress lightly.

  16. Hi Georgina!

I fell in love with your blog the moment I found it (which was only about a week ago) and have practically gone back through the archives and read all your posts (by "read" I mostly mean looked at all the pretty pictures whilst coveting your clothes). I love your fashion sense and how you creatively put all these pieces together! And I've been to your online shop and salivated over the cute cupcake and gingerbread jewellery (I would dearly love to buy some but our Australian Dollar is not exactly strong against the mighty British Pound so getting everything I want would involve considerable expense, such is life).

There are some outfits of yours I would LOVE to try on myself, for example the pink bunny jumper with the black and white skirt that you're wearing in your "About Me" photo, and other outfits you've had involving loud colours and mixing prints (I'm recalling the pink bunny jumper with a navy skirt with multicoloured hearts on it? Also memorable because I think that particular fashion shoot involved your really cute puppies). Unfortunately pastels don't really suit me - I don't have the most feminine looking features so while I love bows and lace and pearls, wearing too many 'delicate' clothes and accessories always seems to make me look like I'm in drag or something :( But your softer outfits also look spectacular on you, lucky thing!

Reading your blog has inspired me to think about starting my own fashion blog (or "fatshion" as it's called these days). I already have a blog of sorts (not updated for about a year!) which is primarily about food and not fashion, but both are passions of mine! However I'll have to get over my queasiness at the idea of taking photos of myself and uploading them to the Internets for the whole world to see. But maybe one day I will. Anyway this is pretty much an essay so if you have managed to read this far, congratulations :) Please keep updating your blog, I love your style!
