Just a quick NOTD - glitter fuzzy nails! I saw some velvet nails on Tumblr a short while back & fell in love. I decided to try my own fuzzy nails, not as luxe as actual velvet, but I still love the flocked effect. I did it on falsies, thought flocking my own nails might be tricky, but it was surprisingly easy, so might try my real nails next time. Totally impractical, but super cute! What do you think, would you ever have flocked (or velvet) nails?

ReplyDeleteSo. In the last 30 years, I have been a terrible nail biter. Well, not terrible - it's been, like, one of my FAVOURITE things. In recent years, I have managed to stop biting when I am calm, and then usually only go crazy on jobs or if something upsets me. At the moment, I am in a moment of calm. I have bought myself a few months of "gel cap" manicures so I can grow the nail, but mostly - break the habit. For a couple of years now, I have come to his blog each week, month and seen your most amazing nails and have constantly felt envious as I couldn't ever see myself experiencing such pretty/cute/interesting nails. MAYBE if I manage to stop biting once and for all, in a few months - MAYBE when I meet you or we could make a date and you could do my nails? Like as a reward to me? Strawberries. I love when you do strawberries.
ReplyDeleteYou don't have to say yes now. xxx.
They are so pretty! They look like sugar on a cake :)

Hi!
ReplyDeleteI was going to ask how you did manage to get this look and make a plea for a tutorial, but I see I'm not the first to think of it!
So I'll just say I love your nails, and your blog in general. i've been reading it religiously for quite a while now and i find you really inspiring. You have a great style, you are very pretty and creative. Sometimes seeing so many talented people on the internet can make me feel less confident about my creations, but you have quite the opposite effect.
also, seeing confident women like you helped me get rid of my eating disorders and come to terms with my body.
Keep doing what you are doing, young lady and have a wonderful day!
Cynthia
Soo pretty! =)
