♥ New Look Spring Outfit Wishlist ♥

BLOUSE // SKIRT // COLLAR // HAIR SLIDES // RING // SHOES

I think New Look has really been improving their plus size offerings recently, I've wanted to buy quite a lot of things. Inspire, their range of plus size jackets, dresses, skirts & more, has the pretty skirt & top pictured above for sale, which teamed with some more of their cute accessories, would make a perfect spring outfit. I always think their prices are reasonable too, with the exception of the shoes above (which are by cute indie shoe brand Shelly's), the whole outfit comes under £50. That's definitely not bad!

I've noticed ASOS has started to stock the Inspire range too, so now it's even easier to buy. What about you, seen anything by New Look you like recently? I'd love to see your Spring picks!

Wednesday Wishlist

Bow Dress // Ruffle Cardigan // Beaded Dress

Had a little browse through the plus size clothing from Marisota today & spotted these cute pieces! In case you didn't know, Marisota is an online/catalogue sister company to Simply Be, which sells plus size clothing, shoes & accessories.

I particularly love the first dress, tempted to get it & hem it a bit, then it would be perfect! The colour is lovely, & the sweetheart neckline a nice detail.  The bow belt is detachable too, which means I could pair it with other things. The cardigan is also pretty, it's so hard finding nice knitwear. I love the frill & bow detail of this one! The last dress is by Rise, & if you look closely at the picture, you can see it has little flower detailed beads/lacey embellishments. A dress with sleeves is also a plus!

The site also has plus size beachwear, I'm a little tempted to get a costume (they have some really cute ones!) & just lie around in it all day, this hot weather is killing me, haha! I'm not even going to a beach/ swimming pool any time soon. I wish I was on holiday somewhere hot though, it's always acceptable to walk around in just a swimming costume/bikini then, not so much in England!

What do you think, have you seen anything you'd like to buy recently?

Shopping & Fashion

Have any of you shopped with JD Williams before? They are under the same group as Simply Be, which both send out catalogues so you can browse at home & either place your order by post, or online.

I have shopped with Simply Be & Simply Yours before, and although JD Williams is focused more at an older age range, I often find that you can get some nice pastel knitwear in "old" shops. I always have such a problem finding pastels aimed at my age group! They often have pretty detailing like pointelle knit too, which again can be difficult to find in trendier plus size shops. Just a tip for those of you that are plus size lolitas/just like pastels! Although I even managed to find this ^ cute bright pink spotty cardigan whilst browsing the site before, along with some more girly pastelly ones.

Simply Be

How many of you have shopped with Simply Be? They stock a large range of Plus Size Women's Trousers, skirts, dresses, cardigans, etc! I actually shop there quite often, they stock quite a few decent brands, like Frock n Frill, & Joe Browns, all going up to a UK 32.

I have my eye on these 2 dresses at the moment, I particularly love the lacey one. They are both by Frock n Frill, my favourite brand featured on the site. They have recently done a range with Zandra Rhodes too, & whilst not to my taste, it is great to see designer collaborations with plus size brands. I've also heard they are opening their first stores pretty soon, in Bury & Liverpool, shame they're not near me, but I assume if those 2 stores do well then they hopefully with expand & open some near/in London!

Simply Yours

Have any of you ever visited Simply Yours? They are an online retailer of Plus Size Lingerie.
They currently have some lovely bras in stock, in sizes that will even fit me (they go all the way up to an L cup). I always have a problem with other retailers because their cup sizes never go up enough, but on the Simply Yours website there are brands such as Curvy Kate & Panache which actually do. Plus they are pretty & stylish. Some of my favourites are pictured below.

1. Curvy Kate Balcony Bra £27 (I own this one & it's handsdown my favourite bra!) 2. Bestform Balconette Bra £30 3.Curvy Kate Balcony Bra £29

Simply Yours also stocks other things, like nightwear, tights, swimwear & even fashion, by brands like Joe Browns, as well as their own designs. They are definately a website worth checking out, especially if you have a hard time finding (nice) bras in your size, like I do!
