Wearing my new knitted headband from Beau xoxo, whilst trying not to smile awkwardly & failing miserably! :P Georgie, the owner of Beau xoxo kindly sent it over for me to try out. Her shops stocks lots of cute hair accessories, including these knitted bow headbands, glitter bows, knitted turbans & garlands. I'm not wearing it in the usual way, it doesn't look right on me just pulled over my head, I don't think I suit them that way, but I like it worn like a normal stretchy headband. Makes a change from my velvet New Look one, & keeps my ears much warmer :P

If you read my sister's blog, you might have seen this dress before, on her! We live apart now & we keep choosing to buy the same things! Last week we met up & both had the same bag, luckily it hasn't happened with us wearing exactly the same dress yet, that might be awkward! Our mum used to occasionally dress us the same (there's a 2 year age gap!), but wearing the same things now might look a little ridiculous:P
Although whilst in Wales last time, in Bets y coed, I did see 2 fabulous old ladies (think they were sisters, possibly twins but not identical), wearing matching outfits, from top to bottom. I thought they looked awesome, but I don't think anyone else thought so! They were definitely very chic, with long pleated skirts & cream cable knit cardigans. They even had a miniature poodle, which was so cute, but unfortunately not one each :P. I desperately wanted to ask them for a pic, but was too shy! Maybe we should dress up the same, might be fun :P What do you say Charlotte?

I love Georgie's things :) I met her at the Clothes Show Live and got a teensy bit overwhelmed by the cuteness! The black of the bow looks absolutely fabulous against your hair and I love its squidgy, oversized qualities.

I LOVE the headband and belt combo! Also, I have a confession to make ... I totally made a little order at your shop. I couldn't help it, between the sale price and the low international shipping rate, at least that's my excuse xD Can't wait to get my shooting star necklace!!!

I also think it's cool seeing the two of you wearing the same dress because your styles are so different. You can definitely wear the same things and still both make it to your own outfit.

ReplyDeleteYou have a unique aesthetic; it isn't necessarily my style as it is a little more girly than I usually prefer, but you pull it off well. And I really like the knitted bow headband. I would have assumed that is how it is supposed to be worn, so keep on doing your thing and wear it however you want! I think my favorite part of the outfit is actually the cardigan though. It is very simple and classic but fits you extremely well- good find! One a totally different note- what made you dye your hair pink and how long have you had it that way?
