OOTD - Brocade Doll

The lovely people over at Cherry Velvet Plus were kind enough to send me their Peggy dress in fuschia to try out & review. It got held up for a while in customs, so do bear in mind you will most likely have to pay customs & be patient, if you are ordering from the UK at least. Cherry Velvet is a Canadian company, which stocks retro style dresses, all made in Canada. They are fairly pricy, but the quality is great & the fit perfect. Their sizes go up to a 3x, which is about a UK 26, the size I got.
It's quite a glam dress, made out of a thick brocade, so for daytime wear I toned it down with my trusty H&M cardigan, & added some cute accessories. The skirt is quite poofy anyway, but I decided to wear my Domino Dollhouse petti underneath too, for extra poof!

Finally got the chance to wear my beloved Callooh & Callay brooch ♥

  15. It's really lovely! But I live in Italy, so custom fees would make it far from affordable for my pockets XD
    Do you (or any of your readers) have suggestions for retro / rockabilly style dresses (and swimsuits) inside the EU? I'm starting to think every shop I'd love to buy from is based in USA or Australia :(
