ReplyDeleteYou are inspirational. I'm not trying to be sappy or crazy, but hear me out. I'm only 25 and I've been dressing frumpy ever since I gained some weight. I used to have such fun shopping and have really good style, unique and colorful and cute like you. I found after I gained weight I was always a size or two too big for most of the cute regular stores for girls my age and frankly, I didn't care because I thought I looked gross anyway. Shopping became depressing and honestly, I didn't feel like I deserved to look good. So I just gave up thinking "I'll buy clothes when I lose the weight". Now, that's all changed. I see you and how amazingly cute your outfits are and how put together and pretty you look and I realize at a size 14/16 my life is not over. I was being ridiculous. I was sweating in jeans trying to cover up all summer but you made me take a look at myself. Yes, I can still wear the girly dresses I used to love. My legs aren't ugly just because I gained some weight. They really aren't, and for a while I had resigned myself to ugly slacks and jeans and cover-up tops. No more! Thanks to you, I'm starting myself a really pretty fall makeover wardrobe semi-inspired by your style, but with twists of my own added. Cute jewelry, cardis, dresses, tights, and girly flats (I'm 5'8" too but I definitely don't have little petite feet like you do lol). I'll definitely be trying ASOS curve out and I chose some really cute stuff from the Forever 21 plus line (have you checked them out? so cute!). Anyway, sorry for the ramble. Just wanted to say you're absolutely gorgeous and a style inspiration to anyone, plus sized or not! You look fab.
