On Tuesday I told you about the pieces I got from ASOS, but wasn't sure about them. I've finally taken pictures so you can help me decide. Please excuse the messy room/background, I only wanted to take some quick snaps to show you what they look like on.
I'd agree with you. Keep the culottes, send back the bed jacket

I concur- Keep culottes, return jacket. The jacket swamps you. I might have to purchase the culottes myself. Btw is your green cardigan from evans about 3yrs ago?
ReplyDeleteThanks for your input everyone. I think I will be definately returning the jacket. It's really cool & floaty when you put your arms up, but I can't go around with my arms in the air all the time:P

Monkey - yes it is an Evans cardigan from around3/4 years ago! DO you have the same one lol? I really love it, it's just getting a bit bobbly now & coming to the end of it's life:(

ReplyDeleteYup I agree with you. Deffo keep culotte and send jacket back. I so want those culottes. I am really sad they were on sale for £16 and have gone back up to £30. I hate it when asos does that x

ReplyDeleteI DO have that cardigan! I love it too but dont wear it very often. Its one of those items that I always "discover" when rooting through my wardrobe.

ReplyDeleteSparkles - yes that is annoying. I'm glad I caught them in time though! Although it is also really annoying when you check back & everything else you've ordered has been reduced again! :P
Modracula - It's not actually a dress, it's just an Evans cami with the ASOS linen skirt!
Monkey - I don't often thing to wear mine either, I used to wear it all the time when I bought it, but as my cardigan collection has accumulated I always seem to bypass it in favour of another.
I would agree with keeping the shorts and sending back the jacket. Don't you already have a jacket or cardigan similar to that one?
ReplyDeleteI think the shorts, and that whole outfit, is great- lovely and colourful. I also think the bed jacket is a little uninspiring, however try it with a few outfits first before making your mind up- how about with a belt or suspenders over it? Maybe with a brooch to fasten it like a cardigan?

I agree with Katrin -- the jacket looks like it doesn't have any shape...although the colour sure is lovely. On the other hand I'm in love with the first outfit! The brooch on the green cardi is so fab!
