Thought I'd show you my latest purchase from ASOS Curve. It is this dress, in green. Irl it is a more subdued green, a kind of grey green. I really like it, esp all the subtle detailing in lace & crochet. I'm not so keen on the long sleeves, it looks much better with them rolled up. I think this is because the sleeves are huge- even on my chubby arms. I think this dress will be great for the upcoming autumn/winter months, because it is still colourful, without shouting "spring". Definitely a fave with me! Also has pockets, which make it even more of a winner!
I also just checked the website, & they have even more cute dresses up now! I know I must seem a bit obsessed with Curve, but it seriously is the best thing to have happened to fatshion in the last year. It's so nice to have a on trend place to shop, with high quality pieces. I buy most of my clothes from there now!
I know you're showing us the dress... But I LOVE your shoes

ReplyDeleteI loved that dress when I saw it too! I only wish it was a little longer. As a matter of fact I wish that for A LOT of Asos Curve's dresses:/ It looks very good on you!:)
ReplyDeleteWOW, that dress looks amazing on you!!!!!! (sorry for the excitement and multiple exclamation marks)
ReplyDeleteThe shoes are a nice touch too, the bright pink is a nice contrast to the green. Now I am going to try to replicate your outfit and hope to look half as cute as you do in the picture. :)
That dress is lovely and looks loads better on you than on the model on the Asos website. I like the pop of pink too.
ReplyDeleteI love this dress, it looks great on you!

I love your creations
ReplyDeleteplaced my first order from ASOS curve a few days ago...they have such amazing sales!!!! can't wait to get it :)
ReplyDeleteThank you everyone, I really appreciate your comments.
ReplyDeleteVeronica - Personally I find the length of ASOS items perfect for me, but I do like things fairly short. I guess it depends on your height- I don't think they can please everybody.
lovely dress !

You look lovely. I've been admiring this dress from afar - green is lovely but its a bit expensive for me at the moment. Also, how tall are you? I have the length issue because I'm 5'3" but sometimes the ASOS curve dresses are a bit short on me. Or maybe its just that I'm not 100% comfortable in shorter things - I'm only 25 but have an irrational need for mid length things, lol.
ReplyDeleteAlso, I just want to say that you have a fab style - you've inspired me to indulge my girly side a bit more with all the pastels you've been wearing :) xx
Polkadotrainbows - I'm 5"8, so I'd say it's be about knee length on you. Although I'm not sure if they make the length longer the bigger the size? Thanks fr your comments though:)
ReplyDeleteI love this dress, and this colour looks amazing on you :)
ReplyDeleteI just got this dress and it looks terrible on me! Too big in the chest, waist arms and too short (I'm 5'9"). Looks great on you!!
ReplyDeleteOh, so preaty!
