Hey everyone :) A quick super casual (& crumpled apparently, haha!) outfit post
from me. I wore this a few weeks ago to go shopping, thought I'd try a nautical theme, but think the block colours made
it work less well than I thought it would. Next time need to try stripes :P I do like the dress though, although the bust doesn't fit quite right, & the was originally listed at £40 & is now £35, but not makred on sale! Has anyone else noticed ASOS doing that recently? Listing an item at a higher price & reducing a few days later without it actually being on offer? It's starting to bug me, grr!

That dress is beautiful on you. I've been considering getting it myself. Though I'm pretty sure it was £50 when I first saw it. How odd that Asos are doing this.

ReplyDeleteWhat a cute dress! I think a good addition to give this outfit more of a nautical feel would be a boater hat! Especially if the ribbon on it is tri-colored, I've seen some lolita brands release hats like that.

ReplyDeleteSo I utterly adore this dress. I've never bought or even looked at Asos before, so I went over to the site to see if they still had it.
ReplyDelete... Which was promptly followed by an angry e-mail about how their 18+ sized range is modelled by skinny chicks who must be about a size 8. Then it made me realise, I can't think of anywhere that model their plus size clothes on appropriately sized girls, assuming they use a model at all (New Look often doesn't even use a model). And now I feel sad, even though when I first found this blog I felt super happy that it turns out you can be fat and look good.
