♥ Finished Afghan & Room Tour


So, I finished my blanket, what do you think? The last time you saw it, it looked like this. I took it up to Wales with me to finish it off. I am really pleased with the way it turned out, even if it did take something like 80-100 hours to make! Weaving the ends in was the worst, it's like, yay you're done, but really you still have 5 hours+ of work still to do. :(
 
Anyway, don't think I'll be attempting such a large project again for a while, haha! For those of you that are interested, I used this granny square design, in 6 different colours, over 151 squares, & joined with this method.

Anyway, whilst I was taking pics of the blanket, thought I might as well show you the rest of my room. Still have the dodgy black carpet, ugh, & one wall is still not done (need some new shelves & to hang some things, plus maybe even still a little painting, eek!), but I am really pleased with how the rest of it looks.

I was very fooled by the size of it until i realized the "third window" was a mirror reflection! And I had no idea you collect kokeshi dolls! How lovely ♥ Thank you so much for sharing!   31. The quilt is stunning! I love your room, it's so cute and girly and the attention to detail is flawless. I'd probably cry every time I'd have to sweep the dust there though - I got rid of most of my decor for that very reason. XD And yeah, moving crafting supplies someplace else is such a change, my room became much more organized after I made a sewing den in the basement. :)

I guess that's where your amazing malm makeover is :) I just moved so I'm in great need of inspiration!
