I went out for a pub lunch today to celebrate a family birthday, so my sis & I snapped a few photos of our outfits. Not sure about the length of this dress, it looked okay on, but looks a little long in the pics. May have to get my sewing machine out & hem it a bit. Also really could have done with a belt, would have finished it off nicely :(
Anyway, I had a nice time, so that's all that matters :P

I am also trying to contain an urge to bleach my hair & dye it pastel pink. Should I go for it, or stick with wigs? I want pretty hair, but dyeing is such an upkeep & I need about 3 packets to even cover my mane:P

ReplyDeleteThis dress has been in & out of my basket on Style369 like a yo-yo! I absolutely adore it! The only thing that stops me buying it, is me and white don't mix! I'd probably ruin it by dropping something down it!!
ReplyDeleteYou look amazing! I would also dye your hair, you are only 21 and what respectable 21 year old doesn't have amazingly funky coloured hair?! I had blue hair at 21! Get the hairdresser to bleach it 1st time round - you can then do the much easier task of dying it pink and root touch up.

ReplyDeleteI definitely wouldn't hem the dress. It looks just the right length, and as if the petticoat would peak out if it were only a wee bit shorter. Anyway, it's an exceptionally cute outfit. I may need to order some bodyline shoes soon.

Don't dye your hair. I think wigs are good. If you dye it and you don't like it - you can't change it. Plus, hair + dye = damage.
I regret every dying my hair. I like the way mine looks.
Love the outfit- it looks great, and the length is really nice, it makes the petticoat more of a surprise :) Your hair would look great pastel pink! And it would complement your look too. I love your Unicorn necklace, you did such a nice job with it.

Personally, I would stick to wigs. After years of dyeing my hair crazy colors I spent almost 3 years getting it back to a healthy state. Not to mention I the cost, I cringe thinking of all the clothing I could have bought with that money.

I think hemming it a few inches wouldn't be a bad idea.
ReplyDeleteI don't really have a decisive opinion on the hair, either way it'll look beautiful. Just there's nothing like having your own hair that perfect colour. Pastel pink would look lovely though! And you are an expert at dying in the past.
